Cindy J. Lahar

Cindy J. Lahar, PhD, is a Professor of Psychology and Program Coordinator at the University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB). With a career spanning universities in the U.S., Canada, Japan, and Cambodia, she has made significant contributions to psychology education and cross-cultural research. Her work focuses on pedagogical innovations across online, hybrid, traditional, and hyflex teaching environments.

Recent work involves collaborations with Vietnam National University's Clinical Psychology PhD program.

Notable accolades include the Carnegie Scholar award (2004) and two Fulbright Scholar honors (2004, 2006) for research and teaching in Cambodia. She continues consulting with the Psychology Department at the Royal University of Phnom Penh.
