Manuel Sanders

Dr. Manuel Sanders is a Professor of Mathematics at the University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB), where he has taught since 2005. He served as the founding Chair of the Department of Mathematics from 2011 to 2019 and held positions at multiple institutions before joining USCB. He was a Fulbright Scholar at Tampere University of Technology in Finland during the 2017-18 academic year, broadening his perspective on technology-oriented education.

Research interests focus on topology, analysis, dynamical systems, and applied mathematics with modern applications in computer vision, artificial intelligence, and technology-infused designs. His work has been published in national/international journals and presented globally.
