Ciliberto Ciro

Ciro Ciliberto is a renowned mathematician and Full Professor of Higher Geometry at the University of Roma Tor Vergata since 1985. He has held multiple academic positions, including Full Professor at the University of Naples and the University of Lecce, and has been actively involved in research, teaching, and leadership roles across Italian and international mathematical institutions.

His research focuses on Algebraic Geometry, including Abelian varieties, moduli spaces, and Noether–Lefschetz theory, alongside historical studies in mathematics. Ciliberto has authored approximately 250 publications and coordinated numerous research projects funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research and the European Community.
