Chunxiao Wolfson is a Research Fellow at the School of Clinical Medicine and a Research Associate at the MRC Epidemiology Unit, University of Cambridge. Her work focuses on understanding the interplay of genetic and behavioral factors in type 2 diabetes and metabolic disorders, with a special emphasis on preventive strategies for high-risk populations like the Middle East.

- PhD candidate at Cambridge (supervised by Professor Nick Wareham), investigating meat consumption and type 2 diabetes risk in global cohorts
Chunxiao leverages multi-omics data (genetics, metabolomics, proteomics) and linked electronic health records to identify modifiable risk factors. Her research aims to translate findings into early interventions and preventive strategies to reduce the economic and health burden of type 2 diabetes.
