Christopher W. Kahler is a Professor of Behavioral and Social Sciences and Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown University, and Director of the Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies. He holds a PhD in clinical psychology from Rutgers University. His primary affiliations include the Alcohol and Addiction Studies program, Behavioral and Social Sciences department, and Psychiatry and Human Behavior department. His work focuses on developing novel treatments for smoking cessation, addressing alcohol misuse in HIV care, and improving behavioral interventions for combined substance use disorders.
