His work spans the datafication of health and exercise through self-tracking technologies (e.g., Fitbit, Spotify), the financialization of wellness, corporate wellness programs, and the sociotechnical dimensions of misinformation and disinformation. He is currently leading a British Academy/Leverhulme-funded project exploring the use of image, audio, and video in vegan activism on Instagram and TikTok.
Research Trends: His recent publications reflect a consistent engagement with the political economy of digital platforms, the commodification of health and exercise, and the role of social media in shaping public discourse.
