Christopher Stutz

Dr. Christopher Stutz is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. He specializes in pediatric orthopaedics, with a focus on congenital hand surgery, brachial plexus injuries, and pediatric trauma. Dr. Stutz earned his MD from University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2005, followed by residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and fellowships in hand surgery and congenital hand surgery at Washington University and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital.

His research explores fracture healing, congenital hand reconstruction, and nerve transfer outcomes. Notable contributions include studies on radial polydactyly reconstruction, brachial plexus birth injury management, and surgical techniques for pediatric fractures. He is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH), Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA), and other professional organizations.
