Christopher Olsson is a Postdoc researcher at Linköping University's Department of Culture and Society (IKOS) and affiliated with the Centre for Local Government Studies (CKS). His research focuses on municipal planning, urban design governance, and sustainable development. Key projects include analyzing the implementation of Sweden's 'Policy for a Designed Living Environment' and examining the impact of public transport rescaling on urban sustainability. He occasionally teaches courses on urban development and planning ideals within the urban and regional planning program.
Research interests span the intersection of architecture, urban design, and land-use planning, with attention to form/content relationships and strategic municipal planning approaches. His work bridges policy analysis and spatial practices, addressing challenges in sustainable urban mobility and resource-sharing economies.
