معرفی
Christopher Mudry is a Full Professor at the Paul Scherrer Institute, where he leads the Condensed Matter Theory group. His research focuses on theoretical condensed matter physics, including disordered systems, mesoscopic physics, and strongly correlated electronic systems. He holds an adjunct professorship at ETH Zurich and collaborates with the Quantum Technology Collaboration at PSI.
Education:
- Diploma of Physics, ETH Zurich (1986)
- Ph.D. in Physics, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1994)
His research investigates fundamental phenomena in condensed matter systems, including disorder effects in quantum systems, nanotechnology-enabled mesoscopic physics, and theoretical frameworks for strongly correlated electronic systems where conventional perturbation theory breaks down.
Mudry's publications demonstrate consistent focus on quantum phases, topological defects, and material behavior under extreme conditions, with recent work exploring magnetic systems and disordered materials.
