Christophe MORA is a Professor at Université Paris Cité (formerly Université Paris Diderot) and a Junior Member of the Institut Universitaire de France. He is affiliated with the Laboratoire Matériaux et Phénomènes Quantiques (MPQ) located at the Condorcet Building in Paris. His research focuses on mesoscopic systems, topological phases, two-dimensional materials, and strongly correlated matter, with additional interests in ultracold atoms and quantum materials. He teaches condensed matter physics and has authored lecture materials on second quantization and 2D materials.
Key research areas include: mesoscopic circuits, topological phases, quantum phenomena in low-dimensional systems, and strongly correlated electron systems. Awards include his membership in the Institut Universitaire de France. He coordinates the MPQ laboratory and contributes to international lectures, such as the 2019 Jouvence School on 2D materials. His work spans theoretical and experimental aspects of quantum materials, bridging mesoscopic physics with topological insulators and correlated electron systems.
