Christopher M. Gunn is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Carleton University, part of the Faculty of Public and Global Affairs. He holds a B.A.Sc. from the University of British Columbia, and an M.A. and Ph.D. from McMaster University.
His research focuses on macroeconomics, credit and banking, and technological change, with expertise in expectations-driven business cycles, real-financial linkages, and technological adoption.
Recent work examines the impact of news shocks on economic variables, inventory dynamics, and financial accelerator mechanisms. His publications appear in journals such as Journal of Money, Credit and Banking and Journal of Monetary Economics.
