Christopher Langdon is a Professor at the Coastal Oregon Marine Experiment Station and holds an adjunct appointment in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences at Oregon State University, affiliated with the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife. He is actively involved in the Molluscan Broodstock Program and the USDA-ARS Pacific Shellfish Breeding Center.

Langdon's recent publications highlight advancements in genetic resistance to OsHV-1 and Vibrio, probiotic and phage-based disease control, seaweed cultivation, and larval physiology. His research contributes to breeding programs that enhance oyster resilience and productivity.
