Christopher L. House

Christopher L. House is a Professor of Economics and Director of Graduate Studies at the University of Michigan. He holds academic appointments since 2001, including tenure-track roles since 2008. His research focuses on macroeconomics, particularly durable goods, investment tax incentives, and monetary policy. He earned his Ph.D. from Boston University in 2001. He is affiliated with NBER and the Survey Research Center at ISR.

His work spans topics like labor mobility in currency unions, austerity impacts, and optimal Taylor rules.
