Christopher Insole is a Research Professor at the Institute for Religion and Critical Inquiry within Australian Catholic University's Faculty of Theology and Philosophy. His research examines Kant's theological journey, moral faith, and connections between medieval philosophy and modern thought, with publications exploring divinity, autonomy, and responses to the problem of evil.
He earned his D.Phil from Oxford and previously taught at Durham University. Professor Insole has held visiting positions at Notre Dame and the University of Virginia, and his work bridges philosophy, theology, and intellectual history.
