Christopher Hunt

Christopher Hunt is a Research Assistant Professor at the University of New Hampshire's Ocean Process Analysis Laboratory. He holds an M.S. in Earth Sciences and a B.S. in Chemistry. His work focuses on coastal and estuarine biogeochemistry, particularly the dynamics of carbon systems and ocean acidification. Hunt has led projects funded by NSF and NERACOOS, including studies on organic alkalinity and sensor-based CO₂ monitoring. His research integrates field observations, sensor technology, and community science to address coastal environmental challenges.
