Christopher Hertzog is a Professor of Psychology at the Georgia Institute of Technology's School of Psychology. He holds degrees from the University of Southern California, including an A.B. (1973), A.M. (1977), and Ph.D. (1979) in Psychology. His research focuses on aging, cognitive processes, and memory, with a particular emphasis on metacognition and interventions for older adults. He has received numerous accolades, including Fellowship in the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Gerontological Society of America, and served as APA Division 20 President (2007-2008). His recent work explores memory stereotypes, stress reactivity, and the impact of digitization on aging populations.
