Christopher Gerner

Christopher Gerner is a Professor at the University of Vienna, holding positions in the Faculty of Chemistry, Institute of Analytical Chemistry, Department of Microbiology and Ecosystem Research, and Center for Microbiology and Environmental Systems Science. He directs the Mass Spectrometry Center and maintains an active research program spanning proteomics, metabolomics, and lipidomics with applications in cancer research and drug development.

His research focuses on Proteomics, Mass Spectrometry, Cancer Research, Metabolomics, Lipidomics, and Systems Biology, with particular expertise in cancer cell biology, tumor microenvironment, and drug mechanism studies.
