Christopher Gee is a Senior Research Fellow and Deputy Director at the Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) in Singapore. He holds a joint appointment at the National University of Singapore Business School, teaching real estate investment trust management within the Department of Real Estate. His work focuses on policy implications of Singapore’s demographic trends, particularly in housing, healthcare, and retirement adequacy.
His research interests include

- Intergenerational equity and tax policy
- CPF (Central Provident Fund) reforms
- Public housing strategies
Christopher’s recent publications (2024–2021) address topics such as tax equity, public housing principles, demographic dividends, and intergenerational debt frameworks. His work emphasizes practical policy solutions for urban societies facing rapid demographic shifts.
