Christopher Dant is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Visual Arts at the University of North Georgia, overseeing photography programs. He holds an M.F.A. in Studio Art (Photography) from the University of Notre Dame (2016) and a B.F.A. in Studio Art (Photography) from the University of North Texas (2012). His research focuses on digital and film photography, studio lighting, and photographic history, exploring themes of generational trauma and human experience through mixed media. He coordinates internships, manages Foundation Portfolio Review and BA Senior Seminar, and chairs Honors Program thesis projects. Notable recognition includes the 2019 Outstanding Faculty Member Award.
