Christopher Clarke

Dr. Christopher Clarke is an Assistant Professor of Economics (Career-Track) at Washington State University (WSU), affiliated with the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences (CAHNRS). His research focuses on public policy, income inequality, public capital, and employment dynamics. Clarke holds a Ph.D. in Economics from WSU (2020), an M.A. (2013), and a B.A. (2012) in Economics from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He has taught economics at multiple institutions since 2013, including the University of Houston and University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Clarke is renowned for innovative teaching methods, particularly using TikTok and social media to popularize economics. He received the Media and Moving Images Teaching Prize (2021) from the University of Houston and the Oaks Academic Technology Award (2024) from WSU.
