Christopher Chávez is the Carolyn Silva Chambers Distinguished Professor of Advertising and Interim Director of the Master's in Advertising and Brand Responsibility at the University of Oregon's School of Journalism and Communication (SOJC). He also serves as Director of the Center for Latina/o and Latin American Studies. His work bridges globalization, media, and cultural identity.
