Christopher Bundy

Christopher Bundy is a Teaching Professor of Writing at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Atlanta, GA, since 2009. He holds a Ph.D. in English from Georgia State University (GSU), an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Emerson College, and a B.A. in English from Furman University. His academic career includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at GSU (2003–2009), an Instructor at Agnes Scott College (2009), and teaching English in Japan through programs like JET (1991–1994).

Bundy’s research and creative interests center on short story writing, nonfiction narrative, and literary fiction. He frequently explores themes of existentialism, social commentary, and psychological depth through experimental narrative techniques. His works have been published in journals like River Teeth, Atticus Review, and Glimmer Train, and he has received notable awards including the Distinguished Mystery Story honor in The Best American Mystery Stories 2010 and multiple Pushcart Prize nominations.

As a professional editor, he has contributed to publications such as New South and Five Points, and his book Baby, You’re a Rich Man was published by C&R Press in 2013. His editorial work spans technical writing, instructional design, and literary editing, reflecting his multifaceted engagement with language and storytelling.
