Dr. Christopher B. Weldon is an Associate Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and holds dual roles as an Associate in Critical Care Medicine at the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine, and an Attending Surgeon in the Department of Surgery at Boston Children's Hospital. His research focuses on novel drug-delivery platforms, conducted under the mentorship of Dr. Daniel Kohane in the Department of Anesthesia. He is affiliated with the Dana-Farber Boston Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Center Research unit.
Dr. Weldon earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Pre-Professional Studies from the University of Notre Dame (1991), followed by a Medical Degree (1995) and a PhD in Pharmacology (2001) from Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed residencies and fellowships in General Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Pediatric Surgery at Tulane Medical Center and Boston Children's Hospital.
