Christoph von Handorff

Prof. Dipl-Ing. (FH) Christoph von Handorff is a professor at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences (BHT) since 2008, specializing in Low Vision, Optometry, and Physiological Optics. He teaches courses ranging from Basics of Ophthalmology to Low Vision II and supervises clinical internships.

• Master Optician (HWK Berlin, 1989)
• Studied Medical Physical Engineering at TFH Berlin (1990-1994)

His research focuses on visual impairment care, ophthalmic optics, and refractive error determination. He previously worked at Berlin's Advice Center for People with Visual Impairments (1995-2007).
