Christoph Lüthy

Christoph Lüthy is Professor of History of Philosophy and Science at Radboud University, with dual expertise in philosophy (Oxford) and history of science (Harvard). His research explores early modern science, matter theory, and visualization techniques.

Studies focus on Renaissance atomism, evolution of time concepts, and diagrammatic reasoning. Current projects investigate the late emergence of timelines and microscopical imaging in scientific practice.

As editor-in-chief of Early Science and Medicine, he shapes scholarship on pre-Enlightenment knowledge systems. Elected to Royal Netherlands Academy and Academia Europaea.
