Prof. Dr. Christoph Wagner holds the Chair of Art History at the Universität Regensburg since 2007 and leads the Institut für Kunstgeschichte. He is a member of the Academia Europaea and spearheads the interdisciplinary theme consortium 'Sehen und Verstehen.' His roles include Vice President of the University (2013–2017) and Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities (2011–2013).
