His recent works analyze Mill's views on free speech, the relationship between theoretical and practical reasoning, and qualitative hedonism. He is also engaged in a long-term project to produce a book-length commentary on Mill's On Liberty.
Publications span peer-reviewed chapters, journal articles, and encyclopedia entries, addressing topics like Mill's naturalism, historical methodology, and critiques of non-cognitivism. His work bridges philosophy, political theory, and intellectual history, often engaging with Romantic and Enlightenment thought.
Recent academic engagements include keynote addresses on Mill's philosophy at international conferences and workshops, reflecting his leadership in Mill scholarship and contributions to contemporary debates in liberal political philosophy.
