Christoph Hauer

Christoph Hauer is a Privatdozent (Associate Professor) at the Institute of Water Engineering, Hydraulics and River Research, within the Department of Landscape, Water and Infrastructure at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU). He is the head of the Christian Doppler Laboratory for Sediment Research and Management, a key role in applied research. His work is centered on the complex interactions between river hydraulics, sediment dynamics, and ecological systems.
