Christoff Zalpour

Prof. Dr. Christoff Zalpour is a Professor of Physiotherapy at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. He also serves as Director of the Institute for Applied Physiotherapy in Osnabrück (INAP/O) and leads the DFG-funded project PA.H|LIFETIME.ai. His expertise spans musculoskeletal disorders, performing artists' health, and clinical decision-making. He holds an MD from Justus-Liebig University Giessen, a Diplom in Pedagogy from Münster, and postgraduate studies at Stanford University.

Research focuses include differential diagnosis in physiotherapy, health of musicians, and AI applications in exercise therapy. He oversees the MotionLab and co-founded the INMOVE fitness studio. Teaching includes courses on clinical reasoning, ethics, and interdisciplinary healthcare for performing artists.

Key contributions include over 120 publications on musicians' health, musculoskeletal epidemiology, and AI in healthcare. Ongoing projects address AI-driven exercise safety and digital documentation in physiotherapy.
