Christine Turenne, PhD, D(ABMM), is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at the University of Manitoba's Max Rady College of Medicine. She serves as a clinical microbiologist at Shared Health Diagnostic Services and holds roles as an editor for the Journal of Clinical Microbiology and section editor for the Manual of Clinical Microbiology. Her research focuses on bacterial epidemiology, diagnostics, and taxonomy, particularly regarding nontuberculous mycobacteria and healthcare-associated infections.
