Christine TAVIOT GUEHO

Christine TAVIOT GUEHO is a Professor at the Institute of Chemistry of Clermont-Ferrand (ICCF), University of Clermont Auvergne (UCA). She holds the Chair of the research group on Layered Double Hydroxides (LDH) at ICCF and oversees the X-ray diffraction department there. Her roles include leading the technician bachelor's degree in analytical chemistry and previously managing ICT policies at Blaise Pascal University.

Education:

Research Interests: Focuses on structural characterization of LDH and hybrid assemblies using X-ray scattering techniques, including Rietveld refinement and PDF analysis. Explores applications in drug delivery systems, photo bactericidal properties of porphyrin-LDH films, and anion-exchange mechanisms. Research also involves AFm-superplasticizer interactions.

Responsibilities:

• Head of the LDH research group at ICCF
• Responsible for X-ray diffraction facilities
• Oversees analytical chemistry education programs

Labs/Teams: Leads the Matériaux Inorganiques (MI) team and the Hydroxydes Doubles Lamellaires (HDL) thematic group at ICCF.
