Christine Meltzer is a Junior Professor of Communication Studies with a focus on Media and Music at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich since 2022. Her research explores the intersection of media effects, gender-based violence, political communication, and migration. She leads the Research Hub since May 2024 and serves as Associate Editor at SN Social Science. As a member of the German Society of Mass Communication (DGPuK), International Communication Association (ICA), and UN Women, she investigates structural inequalities in media portrayal and societal attitudes.
