Christine Heer, J.D., L.C.S.W., is the MSW Program Director and Senior Lecturer at Seton Hall University’s Department of Social Work and Public Administration. With over 32 years of clinical practice specializing in victims’ rights and domestic violence, she is a nationally recognized expert in domestic violence, ethics for mental health professionals, and mediation. She is also a Licensed New Jersey Attorney and Rule 1:40 Approved Mediator, focusing on Family and Probate matters.
In academia, Heer developed the Forensic Social Work Concentration at Seton Hall’s Master of Social Work Program. She has been a Lead Instructor at Rutgers School of Social Work’s Victim Assistance Academy since its inception and has taught in their Continuing Education Program for 25 years.
