Christine Anderson serves as Net Zero Hub Coordinator at the University of Highlands and Islands (UHI), leading a virtual interdisciplinary hub addressing net zero challenges across the institution. Previously a Research Fellow on the Just Transition project, she integrates social sciences expertise with stakeholder engagement across business, third sector, and educational environments.

As Principal Investigator on projects including Under the Scissors (2023-2024) and Skills Requirements for Net Zero Transition in Moray (2023-2025), she collaborates with the Warwick Institute of Employment Research to analyze labor market dynamics. Her 2024 publication in Frontiers in Education establishes frameworks for academic-activist climate collaboration, garnering Scopus citations and policy attention.
Anderson coordinates UHI's cross-institutional Net Zero Hub while maintaining active research partnerships, recently presenting at the EAUC Scotland Autumn Forum (2023) and leading the student-led Climate Conversation Project through 2025.
