Christina Patsalidou is a Lecturer in the Department of Music and Dance at the University of Nicosia, School of Education. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Choreography and dual Bachelor degrees in Dance Performance (School of Dance) and Nutritional Sciences (College of Agriculture and Life Sciences) from the University of Arizona. Her research focuses on dance education, wellness programs for dancers, nutritional strategies for ballet performance, and cross-training methodologies. She has presented at international conferences and co-authored the Bone Health chapter in Dancer Wellness (Human Kinetics). Patsalidou co-founded the 35° 33° Dance Company in 2013 and holds certifications as a Registered Dietitian and Royal Academy of Dance's Registered Teaching Status.
Her research spans topics including reflective practice in dance pedagogy, supplemental training in private studios, and global dance education trends. She actively contributes to interdisciplinary projects merging dance science and health sciences.
