Christina Lee is an Associate Professor in English and Cultural Studies at Curtin University, affiliated with the School of Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry and the Faculty of Humanities. She earned her PhD in Communication Studies from Murdoch University. Her research focuses on cultural memory, screen tourism, spectral spaces, and representations of gender/race in popular culture. Current projects explore affective landscapes in screen tourism (e.g., Bridgerton, Harry Potter), urban ghost cities, and nostalgia in youth cinema. She edits peer-reviewed books and contributes to The Conversation.
