Christina Lacerenza is an Assistant Professor in the Organizational Leadership and Information Analytics division at the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado Boulder. Her research focuses on improving organizational leadership through positive practices, mitigating power abuse, and understanding team dynamics in managerial contexts.
At Leeds, she teaches Foundations of Teamwork and Collaboration (full-time MBA), Organizational Development and Leadership (undergraduates in business/engineering), and Organizational Theory (doctoral program). Her work bridges quantitative and qualitative methodologies, emphasizing alignment with research questions.
She earned her PhD from Rice University and previously worked in talent management at Amazon and the Orlando Magic NBA team. The Leadership and Collaboration Lab, which she directs, explores leader/team development and power-sharing mechanisms in organizations.
