Dr. Christina Goulter is a Professor in Military History and Air Power at King's College London, affiliated with the Defence Studies Department within the School of Security Studies. She serves as Co-Director of the Sir Michael Howard Centre for the History of War, Co-lead of the Military and Political History Theme, and Lead of the Air Power Studies Research Group. Her research focuses on civil wars (particularly Greece), counter-insurgency strategies, air power, and intelligence during World War II. She has authored prize-winning works, including analyses of the Greek Civil War and the Libyan air campaign (2011).
Dr. Goulter holds a Fellow position at the Royal Aeronautical Society and has held roles such as Associate Professor of Strategy at the US Naval War College. Her recent projects include studying British intervention in the Greek Civil War (1944-45) and the political rationale behind the 2011 Libya intervention. She teaches an MA special subject on the Vietnam War (1965-73) and supervises PhD students in air power, intelligence, and counter-insurgency.
