Christina Brown

Christina Brown is an Assistant Professor in the Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics at the University of Chicago since 2021, affiliated with BREAD and JPAL. She holds a PhD in Economics from UC Berkeley and previously worked as a consultant for the World Bank and Save the Children, alongside teaching high school physics.

Her research focuses on development economics, labor markets, and behavioral economics, examining issues such as cognitive endurance in education, teacher incentives, and gender discrimination.
