معرفی
Christina Brodowsky is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Geosciences, University of Oslo, affiliated with the Section for Meteorology and Oceanography (MetOs) and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Her research focuses on volcanic impacts on climate, atmospheric sulfur and sulfate aerosol dynamics, and climate modeling.
Education:
- 2020–2023: M.Sc. Environmental Sciences/Atmospheric and Climate Science, ETH Zürich, Switzerland
- 2017–2021: B.Sc. Environmental Sciences, ETH Zürich, Switzerland
Research Interests: Brodowsky examines how volcanic eruptions influence climate systems through atmospheric sulfur and sulfate aerosol processes. She employs advanced climate models to analyze sulfur budgets and their implications for global climate patterns. Her work bridges atmospheric chemistry and climate dynamics, contributing to understanding human and natural drivers of climate change.
Recent Work: Her 2024 publication in Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics explores multi-model frameworks for analyzing global sulfur budgets, highlighting interdisciplinary approaches to atmospheric science.
Affiliations: Prior to her PhD, she worked at PMOD/WRC Davos, Switzerland (2021–2023).
