Christiane Winkler

Christiane Winkler is a Lead Scientist at the Institute of Diabetes Research, Helmholtz Munich (German Research Center for Environmental Health), where she oversees the research area of Early Diagnosis & Staging of Type 1 Diabetes, and Phenotyping. She has held leadership roles since 2010 and is actively involved in major cohort studies to understand the natural history of type 1 diabetes.
