Dr Christiane Gerblinger is a Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Public Awareness of Science (CPAS) at the Australian National University (ANU). She holds dual PhDs: one in Science Communication (2021) and another in Literature & Art (2000). Her research focuses on expert knowledge communication dynamics, particularly how policy advice is framed and received in government settings. Previously, she worked in Australian Public Service roles, including speechwriting in the Treasury portfolio, leading to her Sir Roland Wilson Scholarship for her second PhD. Her work critiques how institutional language and communication strategies impact policy outcomes.
