Christiana Milla

Dr. Christiana Milla is an Assistant Professor at Southern Nazarene University's Graduate Studies in Education and Leadership. She holds a Ph.D. in Adult and Higher Education from the University of Oklahoma (2020), an MLS from Texas Woman’s University (2013), and a BA from Sam Houston State University (2011).

Her research focuses on university research centers, leadership, women in graduate education, and first-year experience programs. At SNU, she mentors doctoral students in the DEAL program, guiding their research and degree completion.

Prior to her current role, she worked as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Oklahoma and served at the K20 Center for Community and Educational Renewal. There, she organized college campus tours, led workshops for school leaders and teachers, managed student scholar recipients, and handled grant-related and budgeting responsibilities.

Christiana Milla is active in teaching and presenting at state/national conferences. She has instructed bachelor's, master's, and doctoral-level courses. Personal interests include traveling, sports, and spending time with family, informed by her upbringing as a missionary kid across three countries.
