Kent Shellenberger

Dr. Kent Shellenberger is an Assistant Professor in Education and Leadership at Southern Nazarene University (SNU), with 45 years of professional experience in K-12 and higher education. He currently teaches in both traditional and graduate programs at SNU.

His career spans roles as classroom teacher, principal, superintendent, and university instructor. His Ed.D. dissertation examined "PRINCIPALS’ AND TEACHERS’ PERCEPTIONS OF LEADER SUCCESSION IN SELECTED PUBLIC SCHOOLS."

Professional accolades include recognition as Oklahoma State Superintendent of the Year and induction into the Oklahoma Educator’s Hall of Fame. He has contributed to academic discourse through course development, presentations at the First Year Superintendent’s Academy, and facilitation at OSSBA/CCOSA conventions.
