Christian Ebert is a Lecturer in Acting - Basics and Scene Work at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media (Drama Department). He holds a Diploma in Acting from the Hochschule für Schauspiel Dresden (HfS Ernst Busch Berlin) and a Master's in Adult Education from Humboldt University, Berlin. His pedagogical training includes work with Professors Volker Drogi, Lutz Stefanek, and Michael Hauptmann, specializing in drama pedagogy. He has trained in mime with M. Lipinski, Meisner technique with M. Bernardin, Chekhov method with S. Andersson and U. Neumann, and improvisation with K. Johnstone.
Before his academic role, Ebert had extensive stage experience as an actor in Berlin, Frankfurt/M, Darmstadt, Karlsruhe, Neustrelitz, and Neubrandenburg, collaborating with renowned directors like Rainer Berghaus, Thomas Ostermeier, Ernst Schleef, and Robert Wilson. He has also taught at HfS Ernst Busch Berlin, University of Music and Theatre Leipzig (HMT FMB), ISFF Berlin, Die Etage Berlin, and Proskenion Academy Lingen.
His professional engagements combine artistic performance with pedagogical innovation in drama education, emphasizing practical training in scene work and actor training methodologies.
