Christian Buskühl is a Lecturer and Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Chinese Studies, University of Tuebingen. His research focuses on Ming Dynasty palace intrigues, particularly the 'three cases' (san'an), and historical events shaping Chinese dynastic historiography. He also contributes to the international project 'Translating Western Science, Technology and Medicine to Late Ming China.'
