Christian Buchmüller

Prof. Dr. Christian Buchmüller is a Professor of European Business Law at the West Coast University of Applied Sciences (Department of Economics). He serves as Head of the Master Green Energy study program and Deputy Scientific Director of the Institute for the Transformation of the Energy System (ITE). His expertise focuses on energy law, climate protection, and public procurement law. He holds a doctorate from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (2012) and practiced law in Berlin (2007–2014), specializing in energy and environmental law. His legal traineeship (2004–2006) included international experience in Washington, DC.
