Dr. Christi Griffin is a Professor and Program Director of Health Care Administration at Cumberland University’s Labry School of Science, Technology, and Business. She teaches courses in health care administration, business ethics, business law, information technology law, and employment law. Her leadership has secured the University’s participation in the American College of Health Care Executives’ Higher Education Network and established industry partnerships for internships and guest lectures.

Her research and professional focus integrates healthcare law, ethics, and policy. She advises on healthcare legal frameworks and has contributed to academic publications through editorial roles at the Creighton University Law Review and District of Columbia Bar Digest.
Awarded the Tennessee Supreme Court’s Pro Bono Service Award three times, Dr. Griffin is also a practicing attorney at Griffin Law Office, specializing in health systems and provider law. She actively serves on nonprofit boards, including the Lebanon Noon Rotary Club, Charis Health Center, and Rest Stop Ministries.
In addition to her academic role, she has led cultural field studies and contributed to Cumberland’s Institutional Review Board. Her career spans three decades in healthcare leadership, corporate law, and government roles in Nashville, Washington, D.C., and Boston.
