Christi Gierhart

Christi Gierhart is the Director of the Physician Assistant Program at Marietta College, holding the academic rank of Assistant Professor. Previously, she served as a Certified Physician Assistant in internal medicine and women's health before transitioning to academia in 2012.

She earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (2007) and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Findlay (2001). Her academic leadership includes roles as Clinical Instructor, Assistant Professor, and Associate Director of Didactic Education.

Research interests focus on clinical healthcare education, internal medicine, and women's health. Her work emphasizes didactic training methodologies and interdisciplinary approaches to physician assistant education.
