Colene Wade

Colene Wade, MPAS, PA-C, is an Assistant Professor in the Physician Assistant program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), affiliated with the College of Allied Health Professions and the Department of Medical Sciences. She holds a Master of Physician Assistant Studies and a Bachelor of Health Science from Grand Valley State University in Michigan. Her clinical experience spans 12 years in family medicine within a residency training program at Western Michigan University School of Medicine, where she actively precepted medical and PA students, fostering her passion for teaching.

Her research interests focus on Women's Health and advancing the Physician Assistant Program. She maintains strong ties to UNMC’s Omaha campus at 984300 Nebraska Medical Center, NE 68198-4300. Beyond academia, she enjoys an active lifestyle emphasizing athletics, outdoor activities, and family life with her husband and two children.
